your appetite during training? I'm really happy that i have been consistently working out and not letting other things interfere with my training. But my appetite has taken a BIG upswing! :eek:

I've been trying to eat smaller meals/snacks throughout the day instead of just pigging out on three meals, but I always seem hungry. I've been snacking on pretzels, popcorn, nuts and carrot sticks. I've been drinking water and yogurt smoothies. I'm just always hungry.

How do you guys handle the food issues?

Increase protein. At least that's what works for me. Sometimes I feel like I'm going to turn into a chicken. :earboy2: I've also heard to keep adequate iron levels, especially women. Good luck!

Try not to snack at all. If you're getting hungry in between meals, make your meals bigger. Eat enough so you can make it to your next meal without snacking. Sara makes a good point, increasing your protein will help.

Also, be careful with yogurt smoothies, most yogurts are loaded with sugar.

If you posted a outline of what you eat throughout the day, I would be able to give better advice.
