How do YOU handle the anticipation when you're one month out??

24 days to go-- I'm pretty much packed, I'm tanning a few times per week to get a base, trying to do some overtime for extra $$, have mothers day gifts ready to mail since we'll be gone, Vera Bradley is packed to walk in the park--- I think I'm ready.... Now I just need the next few weeks paychecks ;)

Seriously, I CAN NOT wait!! DD doesn't know about the trip, so it makes me even more excited when I tell her... all she knows is that we're going on vacation!! :cool1:

I don't know what to do with myself! I have some brown bags with Tink and another with the Princesses from the dollar store and I can't wait to do some coloring on them and fill them with gifts for the days we're there! I think I'll be starting tonight when she goes to bed :rotfl: I feel like I have so much more to do, but in reality, I have to make the iron ons for her shirts, her autograph book and buy me some clothes... I guess that is a lot! Oh yea and pack

:wizard: 3 weeks and counting! :woohoo:

I am 86 days out and driving down the road today I was wondering if I could explode from excitement...I feel like the emotions are too big for me. Then, I consider how ridiculous it is that I am that excited! I am glad that I am not alone.

My daughters and I are reading The Kingdom Keepers. Maybe that is a way for you to pass the time in a Disney related way. I am also writing a pre-trip report as an outlet and I am going to do something creative (DVD maybe) with our past photos. I also reread Disney books (Passporter, Unofficial Guide and The Complete Walt Disney World 2010).

I am a teacher, so during the day, I don't have time to Disney daydream. Once school lets out, I will fill the days with making the road trip activity bags for my daughters and completely mapping out our road trip with places for coffee, restrooms and gas. Of course, some of life's other chores :laundy: take some time too.

What's not fair is that the time leading up to the trip goes by SOOOO slowly and then the time at Disney goes by SOOOO fast :sad1: I'm in your same boat though...18 days (actually 19, but I'm cheating too). I've been waiting for this trip for almost a year. I pass the time by looking up weather reports and crowd calendars, reading trip reports, listening to Disney music, watching Disney movies, etc. I've changed my ADRs about 30 times too :rotfl: I'm also counting down the days until I can do online check-in! And I have the DIS and Disney Parks in my Twitter feed, so I get updates every day! Don't worry, your trip will get here soon enough and you're not alone!

The waiting is hard to do when you get close so try to do projects and jobs to make it go by faster. right now, we've already made all of our trip reservations (air,ADR's,etc.) so all we have to do now is wait for our ME paperwork, and check in on line. But to make this go by faster we go on th Dis boards at night to learn the latest news!:surfweb::thumbsup2

OP you're so close!!!!!!! Mere days!!!!!! We are 34 days away and DYING with excitement!!!!!!!!:yay::yay::yay::yay::yay:
