How do you get pin codes???

Nobody knows, just random luck, I think. Back in April, following advice posted here, I opened a couple of new accounts at the Disney site using new email accounts I had created, since then I've received 3 PINs. I have to believe that it was due to the new accounts because I received my first PIN the very next morning after opening a new Disney account, the second and third PINs linked to 2 other new accounts. But anyway, I booked using the first of the PINs (one was the 20/30/40% the other was the 30/35/40% off room), called to change using the second PIN and ended up changing my reservation last week in favor of free dining which was a much better savings for us.

I have heard that both of the suggestions above my post have worked...one person on the board said she created an account online with disneyworld.com with HER name and actually misspelled it by one letter...later she got a PIN on that name....do a search on PIN and see what else you can come up with...

I have also heard other people say they created a trip itinerary ( hotel, dates, etc...) and saved it on the DIsney site, then canceled the saved info then goa a pin....maybe vooodoo!!! LOLOL! :lmao:

Ordeing the DVD is likely the best way :thumbsup2 , everyone I have mentioned the DVD to who ordered it started getting pin code right after they sent for it. :)

Yep, I created itineraries, said I was staying at a non-Disney hotel and didn't need tickets. Ordering the DVD didn't work for triggering a PIN for me, though.

I've been trying every trick I've read about for years and years and I have never received a pin.

So who knows?

I have subscribed to Disney online, am a AP, etc. and never get pin codes! Any tips???

I wish I could answer this for you, I also am registered on the Disney Site and have an AP. Over the years the only discounts I ever received was AP discounts. For some reason this year since May I've gotten 5 in my e-mail and 2 AP discounts. Don't know why some are getting pins and some not. We've been booked since March so they have a record we going and have ressies. My discount has been applied and I'm still getting pins.

We will be returning the end of May for Star Wars Weekend hoping they will still be targeting me at that time.

I've gotten 3 pins this year even though I had never rcvd them in any prior years. The first was for Adventures by Disney which I rcvd after requesting info. I got a 2nd one for DCL after requesting the DCL dvd. Then i got the 40% off room (any category) for WDW after I priced out several itineraries adn the web site but did not book.
