How do you get FREE dining?

Look at the Codes & Rates section.

There are offers for certain dates for Free dining. The current offer is only for Disney Visa Rewards holders and goes until Dec. with some blackout periods.

For UK residents, there's free dining in Sept and Oct '09

There was a free dining promo for September I believe but I am not sure when the next one will be....

An announcement for general public free dining is normally made at the beginning of April. This year that free dining ran from August 24 - Sept 20, I believe. You have to pay rack rate for your room and I believe the offer had to be booked before sometime at the end of June. Right now there is an offer for Disney Visa card holders so you could get in on that if you want to open up an account. The dates are 9/28-10/11...11/9-11/22...& 12/14-12/20.

If you just got back there should have been an offer for the deal for next September-October in your room. If there wasn't the info is posted in other threads.

Since 2005, Disney has been offering the Free Dining promo for Magic Your way packages with a 3 night minimum and a 14 day maximum (Basic Dining Plan; 1 TS, 1 CS, 1 Snack per person per night) during the last part of August until the end of September, give or take a few days. The free dining offer is usually announced during the first week of April. The first couple of days it will only be open to Disney Visa holders and then will open up to the general public. The booking dates for this year for the general public were August 24 through September 20 and you had to book by June 22 to receive the FD offer.

If you were staying on-site during the WDW that you just came back from, you could have booked a free dining "bounceback" for next fall by calling WDW dining from your resort room and putting down a $200.00 deposit.

A few weeks ago Disney Destinations sent out some emails that offered free dining pin codes for select dates in October, November and December. These emails were random, not for the general public, and the codes were non-transferrable. Last week Disney Visa send out a free dining code for their card holders for the same select dates in October, November and December. The select free dining pin code emails and the Disney Visa offer are for stays most nights 9/28-10/11, 11/9-11/22, 12/14-12/20/08. To get the Disney Visa offer you must be traveling within these dates to be eligible for the free dining discount.
