how do you get a pin code

can someone please let me in on how to get a pin code. i go every year to wdw, dcl twice and DL multiple times so my name is in their system. please let me know if there is somewhere i need to sign up. thanks

call and make a ressie w/o a deposit (they r due in 7 days). After u dont pay, u will find a PIN code for those days u'd wanted within a month or two. Its always worked for me! You can price out trips online under your sign-in at the website and save the offers...lol...really- Ive recieved a ton of offers

I do all that...make ressies, save offers, save itineraries, order DVD's, enter contests...my name is ALL over their system...I've NEVER gotten a PIN...EVER.

My mom has gotten about 5 different ones in the last 3 weeks...she does it all too. So it works for some, not for others....doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason, no method to their madness...

Just get your name in there every way you can...hopefully you'll be one of the lucky ones.

There are a TON of threads on here with people asking the same question. Answers are always the same. Seem to be random, but you won't get them if they don't have your info, so get it in there every which way you can think of.

I've been registered all over every Disney site forever..enter sweepstakes, buy from Disney on-line you name it I do it....have stayed at the resorts 3 weeks at a time even. I'm thinking I'm Italian maybe I have to call the Vatican ? I never got a Pin ...nope never Still LOve everything Disney though !

We've been receiving PIN's for the past 3-4 trips but honestly they've always released the exact same offer to the public that we got in the PIN as it got closer to the trip (we go during non-peak times).

I keep getting PIN codes for ANOTHER Family The email is mine. The family name is not. What i want to know is if I can use their PIN or somehow get it corrected. I'd rather have my own PIN KWIM. The last 2 PINS though were for free dining plans and I'm not sure we would use those.

Seriousli I read somewhere on here that it has to be used by the name it is in..but your situation is weird...can you call reservations line or something & tell them what you just said? If you want them Ruthie and you can ID the correct family name they're all yours I thought about calling but after the month I've had they'd have to PIN me an entire free trip. Cause free dining or not we have NO money to go to Disney and i was thinking about it. But March and early April have killed that and any possible vacation in 2010. Be sponging off my parents per usual. The live near the beach fortunately.

Are you signed up on the official Disney site? I signed up there and started receiving PIN codes shortly after that. I received 2 PIN codes before my November trip and have since received 3 more. Too bad I don't have another trip planned yet!

Personally, I think the PIN Fairy is harder to get a gift from than the Tag Fairy

I've only gotten a PIN one time - this may have been what drove it:

Have you ever seen those CMs in the parks or at DTD carrying a touch pad thingy & they'll ask you if you want to take a survey? I did one of them & shortly after that we got a PIN code e-mailed to us.

Of course it was not for a time when we could use it, so it was useless, but I was still pretty excited to get it!
