How do YOU eat an Oreo cookie?

DBF eats the whole cookie, he doesn't like the frosting, he even prefers regular Oreo's to double stuffed. I like to pull off 1 cookie, eat the other half and give DBF my leftover half. LOL

Newman O's will work. I find them more delicious. Especially the mint. It's like a "thin mint fix" when it's not girl scout cookie time.

I totally agree! (although I prefer just the original Newman O's) I was very skeptical at first to try them but the grocery store was having a sale and I noticed they could barely keep them stocked on the shelves long enough. I bought a bag and fell in love! I never thought any sandwich cookie could taste that close to an Oreo (I now prefer Newman O's to Oreo's) and be made entirely organic (not that that makes them stick to your thighs any less ).

Isn't that the truth!! I had these at Cedar Point a couple of months ago and thought they were soooooooooooo good! (EVEN MORE SO THEN THE FUNNEL CAKE I HAD AN HOUR LATER )

I eat them dunked till just about squishy and after, I drink the milk....1o/o milk

but strange I just noticed a couple of days ago that the front of the bag spells it "Stuf" and thought that it was strange I have never noticed the spelling of that before.

I usually break the double stuf apart and eat the cream and then the two halves. Or I just eat it whole.

I love Oreos but they have so many calories.

I don't like eating the Oreo cookies by itself. I will put a few in a plastic bag, smash them into little pieces with the rolling pin and mix it up with vanilla ice cream. I also like it with mint ice cream when I can find it (without chocolate chips).

On a side note, I was in China last summer and discovered Chinese Oreos. They're also made by Nabisco, but instead of round cookies, they're long rectangular chocolate wafers with creme sandwiched in between. The whole thing is also covered in chocolate. It's really good and I was sad when I couldn't find any of them here in the states.

When I have eaten Oreos, especially liked them when I was a kid, I would bite straight into them and eat like a normal cookie. I personally do not get the take them apart and eating the middle and then the cookie. I don't like that at all. I personally also think the latest commercials showing a grown-up and child doing that and racing, is gross. Yuk.

I have to separate first. Then I eat the side with no icing. After that I nibble the edge of the cookie along the icing. Finally I finish it off.

Oreos are not really my cookie of choice, but the rare times I do eat them, I like to dunk them in ice cold milk.

I would like to thank the OP for making me (yes, she twisted my arm), go out and buy a bag of Oreos. I never buy junk!!! My husband (who does buy junk) came home laughing that I caved in. I had told him about the thread and especially the Macaw.

BTW, quadruple Oreos are great. Luv2Scrap, you need to go buy another bag.
