How do you dress for signature dining

Since you are going to be there during milder weather I think capris would be a great choice. Also you won't be sweating either so that is good. We personally change before going out to dinner at signature places but that is just us. It would not bother me to see someone in tennis shoes and capris and a nicer shirt. I hope you enjoy your trip!!!!

christinec68 sort of sums it up--while we all have preferences and the OP asked what we actually wear, Disney sets the dress code and ,as it is now, only a very few things are actually "not permitted" in the restaurants. Meaning that folks in cargo shorts, t-shirts and sneakers are not in violation of the dress code.
And I suggest that if the Signature restaurants were ever to expand their menus, they would probably be on a par with some of the similarly priced restaurants around these parts where I live (which includes Baltimore).

Wife wears capris or slacks and a nice blouse,occasionally a summer dress.
I wear slacks or "dress" shorts and a nice short sleeve shirt.
Resort casual to travelers.

Shoes are harder as nice shoes are rarely suited to 8-18 hours in the parks.
We'll often put a change in our backpack or a locker.

Several NYE ago we went to V&A and did have to return to our room for a more formal outfit.We were able return to the park for fireworks and the rest of the evening.We got several compliments and more weird looks.

We also prefer to dress up a little more when going to signature dining. To us, it's not just about the food, but the atmosphere and we like to contribute to a more upscale experience for ourselves.

What others wear has no bearing on my experience. My table is my table and my hubby is the only person I'm looking at.

Wear what makes you happy and create your experience, your way!

When we went to California Grill, we went back to our room to change and shower first. I wore a knee-length black dress and black sandals with low heels, and DH wore slacks, a gray button-down shirt, and a tie. Needless to say, we felt a bit overdressed. But we considered it our official "special honeymoon dinner" of the trip, so I felt somewhat justified in dressing up a bit.

However, there were people there in all manner of clothes. If we ever go again, I'd dress down a little. I think the suggestions about dressy capris would be perfect, especially with nice sandals and a pretty blouse. Honestly, as long as you had on a somewhat dressy blouse and shoes, I think you'd look appropriate in jeans, a casual skirt, or even dress shorts.

We have done everything from park attire to go back to the room and put a fresh resort casual outfit on.

The only thing you really can't wear is swim wear.

my family ate at artist point at wilderness last wednesday and even though we didn't "dress-up" per-say, we did look nice. we all had jeans on (yes, jeans!) and sweaters/button down shirts on and still looked nice and didn't take away from anyone else's ambiance of the meal. to be honest a few of the teenagers had flipflops on cause they forgot to get into their suitcases to grab the nice shoes and put them in their carry-ons. no one said anything and we didn't look like we were out of place because of it. i think as long as you try to look nice you can wear just about anything (except torn/cut off jeans, tank tops)
