How do you coordinate giving someone your FP time?

Ive never done this before. I know nothing is guaranteed, but for those of you that have done it, what's the best way?

Like ADRs, FPs are immediately available once dropped.

Unlike ADRs, FP are so fluid that you would have to coordinate by phone or text to have a good chance of completing the exchange.

By more fluid, I mean there's much more FP activity, and the FP engine looks for many more windows at one time than ADRs.
