How do you cook corn on the cob?

I love corn on the cob!

But I haven't been able to eat it since Jan. 2005 when I got braces on my teeth...for the second time...and I'm in my early 40s. (Are you tearing up yet?)

But fear not~ In four weeks the braces come off, WOOHOO!!! And I think I'll eat a whole bunch of corn on the cob that night! :cool1:

I used to boil it, but then started wetting them down, wrapping them in wax paper and zapping them in the microwave. However, I think I'm going to try steaming them. I've been steaming a lot of veggies now that DH has been diagnosed with heart disease, and veggies do taste so much better! And they look more colorful, too.

Baked in the oven with its silk and husk or wraped in foil as before mentioned and grilled outside. Yummy and no salt or butter needed.

My husband is the corn sheriff, the corn cannot stay in the boiling water any longer than 4 minutes. He keeps saying are you timing that corn!!!
