How do you cook a Turkey?

A good friend of mine used to be a preschool teacher.. she always did a project witht he kids and asked them "How do you cook a Turkey?" The responses were hilarious. So if you have a child between 3-10 ask them and then come back and post there response. We can have our own little butterball hotline and a few giggles too.

My twins did this in 2008. There responses were a bit different.

Jillian: Cut the skin off. Cook him, bake him in the oven for 2 hours. You make it with cake and cupcakes.

Sean: Put gloves on. Cook it in the oven from Halloween to Christmas.

How adorable! I am going to ask my nephews (5 and 8) today and see what they think. If they come up with anything entertaining, I will post back.

I realy thought my 21 month old was to young to answer this question but when I asked her yesterday she said "Nonnie do" which is 100% right.. we don't cook a turkey.. we let Nonnie (my mom) do it.

Sometimes adults have funnier responses.

Step 1: Fill the deep fryer all the way to the top. You don't want the turkey to have any spots sticking out!
Step 2. Make sure you spray the turkey down and get it nice and wet before putting it back in the freezer so that you make pretty ice crystals.
Step 3: Drop it in the oil as fast as you can!
(Note: this method is best if you like your turkey a bit crispy)
