How do you change DH's attitude?!!

three weeks in a hotel room. Might make your DH a little crazy. IMHO I would rent a villa for some of that time. It's great to be on-site but I think that 3 weeks is a little long. If you rent a villa you can spend some days just being lazy, shopping, reading a book and relaxing. You could even take the middle week and go to the beach, it's going to be hot in July/August and ocean breezes might be nice.

I'm not telling you how to vacation, just telling you that my DH would go crazy for 3 weeks in a hotel room.

Believe it or not, we originally planned it so he would stay at home and I would come along to WDW with the kids and without him! But, when I started talking about the various things we could do in Florida and the space centre and other great stuff - he changed his mind! I really think he will enjoy himself, actually!! He is perverse, though, he will still complain about the cost of it all!!

There are pros and cons to staying in one place for a whole three weeks. Other people have debated this subject in various places in DISboards. From our point of view, the time and stress saved by moving outweighs any disadvantages. I will be regarding our hotel room as a home for three weeks rather than temporary accommodation for three weeks.
