How do you carry stuff in the parks?

I bought mine from QVC. I love it. I got the microfiber one in denim color. I got the one that does not have the flap that you have to lift up. I thought it would be easier to just reach down in instead of having to hold the flap up while you get in it. It's great.

To be fair...and not trying to confuse anyone further...there is another bag very similar called a Baggallini that a lot of woman (and men I hear!) on the DIS rave about. It is very similar to the Travelon but has the added bonus of having a water bottle holder as well.

I was looking at the Baggallini and the LLBean Ameribag and couldn't decide on which one I wanted. This one looks really good too. Any more opinions on how the Travelon compares to the Baggallini and Ameribag? Thanks!!

I have a Kipling purse that is very similar to what you are describing. I use that in the parks. Honestly, I prefer to carry as little as possible. I carry a camera, some cash and a few granola bars.

I bought the leather one in navy i will use it other than vacation i really like it.

Last time we went to Disney I had all the kids with me so we had 2 full size strollers that we could use to store all of our stuff. This summer I'm taking just the oldest 2 kids (9 and 8) and I'm not sure if I should plan on lugging around a backpack all day for water, etc. I'm not thrilled with the idea of carrying around a backpack in 90+ weather and humidity. Are there any other suggestions for dealing with this?
I don't know from personal experience but on one of the threads someone said you can get a glass of icewater from anycounter service restaurant and they won't charge you for it. Sure would beat carrying a water bottle around.

I asked about the Baggallini on another thread...and several woman had the same problem with the shoulder strap becoming loose. I am going to stick with my Travelon and make dh hold our water! :lmao:

I just went to QVC.com for the Travelon and the Camel, Chocolate and Black leather ones are on waitlist. I checked ebags and a couple others and they don't have the leather ones only the microfiber. I went to the Travelon web-site and it doesn't look like they sell anywhere other than on-line. Anyone have any suggestions for me?

When I ordered mine from QVC it was on waitlist too. I went ahead and ordered since I didn't need it until Dec. The waitlist said they would ship it if they got more within 45 days. Well, it came in less than 2 weeks, probably about 10 days, so I would go ahead and order one that you like. ENJOY!!

I've been looking for just the right bag, and this sounds like the perfect one.

Thanks
