How do you beat the back from Disney blues

I sometimes watch the movies (my daughter makes me watch them anyway), but I love watching House of Mouse. Makes me feel all happy and "Disney".

I get the blues big time. we went 5/24-5/31 and had a great time. I spent so much time planning the trip and now that it has come and gone, I'm a bit bummed. This site has helped, it's nice to go a give someone else planning a trip some fresh opinions and insights. We usually go every other year so I won't be going again until 2005, so I can't really start planning yet, OR CAN I!!!

I'm really so glad to hear i'm not the only one. For me, the anticipation for our trip in June was a huge factor. I fell skiing on Feb 5th and we were supposed to go in march. I had months of therapy and this trip was my big motivator to get better and exercise every day. I was so bummed cancelling our March trip I had to rebook it and hope I got better. It worked a little too well! :p

Anyway, my DH, who was never a Disneyholic, keeps talking about how much fun we had with our 2 yo, so the good news is that he just told me he wants to plan another trip next year. The Disney magic has found us!

I miss WDW so much every time we leave I finally told DH I want to move to Orlando:) He agreed that houses here in MA were too much and Florida sounded great. Last November we toured Celebration, Hunters Creek and Poinciana. This August we are checking out Clermont and a few other areas. Whenever the weather stinks here in MA I keep saying just a few more months... We are going in the spring of 04. We were going to do it this spring but with the war/economy we decided to put it off a bit and save some more $$$.

Ways for me to beat the back from Disney blues are:

Plan our next WDW vacation
Look at vacation pictures
Watch the video from vacation
surf the DIS

Great topic--I'm suffering the post-Disney blues from my late May trip. Leaving Disney gives me the same sad feeling I get the day after Christmas. All the magic is over...

But it isn't over really! My secret thing to beat the blues is to hunt for hidden Mickeys--they aren't just at Disney!

I know I'm crazy--but you folks understand!

i just got back and i am going through the same thing, it went by so fast when we were there, and im home daydreaming on and off about everything , the way our room was, and the rides, and everything, there is this website called digital disney, you have to actually go to yahoo, or google or whatever you use, and it will take you to it because i think the website is just a bunch of numbers, but go to yahoo and type in digital disney, and you can do a virtual reality type thing for most of the rides in disney, it makes you feel all warm inside, like you have a peice of disney home with you!!! try that, its fun
