How do you attach luggage tags?

I have some tags I printed off on cardstock, and added another piece of colored cardstock to the back. I laminated them also, so I'm hoping they're strong enough. My question is how do you attach them to luggage? Can I punch a hole in them and use a cable tie? Does anyone have a better suggestion for me?

Thanks!!

Punch a hole (not too close to the edge or it'll break) and use a cable tie. You may have to punch 2 holes next to one another, or a 'hole and a half' to accommodate the size of the tie. Check out the size of your ties before punching.

If you want to make sturdier luggage tags. Go to Wal-mart or anywhere that baseball trading cards are sold and buy the trading card holders. Get the hard plastic ones not the flimsy plastic ones. Then you can design cards that will fit inside holder and they are water proof and tear proof. You can use the ties to attach them to your luggage or there are metal rings in the office supply section of Walmart. I found 8 colored ones for 88 cents. The "Toploaders" trading card holders are 3 inches by 4 inches and cost just under $3.00 for 35 which is a great deal! You can also use them to make wonderful name tags, stroller tags or your own trading cards of family pictures from your disney trip.
