How do you all store your stickers?

As a teacher, I absolutely love stickers, and have accumulated a nice stash for my scrapbooking & cards. My problem now is how to store them. My DH just bought me the Crop in Style Jr. yesterday as I don't have tons of stuff - I do simple layouts & therefore, don't have lots of embellishments, punches, etc... but I have lots of paper & stickers - with a very active 20 month old at home & teaching full-time, this style works for me, especially now that I'm not as stressed about my scrapping anymore ;). I also have my own scrap/craft room - I have a shelf system with a small few totes for my punches, tools, albums & magazines, as well as Crop in Style Paper Taker for my paper (lots of that!), and Scrapfolio for Disney products (stickers, papers, die cuts, etc...) as well as the mini Scrapper bag for die cuts & titles. Stickers are now the next project (I'm lucky to have a DH who is very supportive & very helpful in regards to my scrapping) that we are working on.

I see that Crop in Style has a sticker/accessory album, as well as CM has one too. Anyone have these or any other similar ones to suggest? Our Michael's only carries CIS (only a few items though, I spoke with the manager last night who had never heard of the NaNa Navigator bag!), Generations (dont' think that they feel as sturdy as CIS products) & new Fiskars & Coluzzle bags for specialty products, and that's it.

Any suggestions on sticker storage would be great! I don't go out to scrap very often (I do most of it at home), but I want to start going out once in awhile & would love to be able to take some stickers with me, so this is mostly my priority - plus I want them all in one place as right now they are in 3 different products due to differing stickers sizes.

Thanks, Tiger :earsgirl:

CIS sticker binder (bought with that 40% coupon of course) for general stickers...

I have a drwer in my iris for all alpha stickers
and another drawer for word - definition stickers
and yet another for those Shotz
and if they corillate to a theme box I have filled with all the themes papers, embellishments, swap stuff etc I put those sticjers in there

But I do love the CIS - just be careful you get one that closes right - mine doesn't drives me nuts sometimes when the rings don't line up right!

I have the crop in style sticker binder. I really like it. I have had it for several years and it is holding up very well. Initially it was stuffed and I thought for sure the zipper would give out. But it didn't.
I like the variety of pages you can get to put in it. My LSS use to sell them by the page. I especially like the ones that were a full sheet (like a page protector) or two long pockets.
I have another friend who bought the sticker binder and hated it. Because she couldn't keep all of the same theme in the same area because of the different sized pockets. She bought one of those file according things at Mike's and uses that. I think it is at 12x12 files.

But it is loaded to the max! I'm trying to hold off buying new stickers until I make a dent in what I already own, but everytime they come out with something cute, I'm affraid I won't be able to get it when I want it, so I stockpile!

Then of course is the dilemna of how to organize them all....

For those of you who like one over the other (CIS vs. CM):

1) What sold you on one binder over the other?

2) Is one more cost efficient over the other?

3) Is one sturdier than the other?

Thanks for the awesome info as usual, Tiger :earsgirl:

I juat bought a canvas 3 ring binder the zips shut at Walmart, about $6.00. Then in the photo album aisle I bought plastic photo sleeves for binders. I got all different sizes. 8x10 size for border stickers and larger sticker sheets, and 3x5 and 5x7 for smaller stickers. Works great. Sticker organizers at scrapbooks stores cost about $25.00, but I spent around $10.00. for basically the same thing.

I have the CM Accessory Binder and I love it!! I have one page that holds the little packet of stickers like the Happening packets you get from CM, then one page that has 4 opennings for large stickers or die cuts and then the page that hold the long border style strips of stickers. This wknd I bought 2 pages for paper or larger strips of stickers. I get alot of stickers off rolls from LSS and they won't fit in the other holders so bought these and love it. One thing I really like about the CM binder is if I'm going to a crop night and ahve only a few pages I want to work on, I can put the paper I want to use in the binder and not ahve to carry the entire Crop N go case I have.
Haven't used any other kinds so can't tell you how it compares to others.
It's a good investment tho.
Have a good day!

I have both binders. The CM one is great if you only buy their stickers. There pages that hold the stickers are specific to their sticker sizes. I love the sturdy holders better with CM. However, my CIS binder holds a lot more and bigger stickers (like the long strips). The pages do feel flismy but they aren't which I discovered after packing it full. I'm not sure about the price difference between the two because I stopped looking at prices with scrapping (LOL). However, I did use the 50% coupon at Michaels to buy it. GL...

I have the CM binder- I earned it when I was a CMC and I earned a TON of the pages to put in it to hold all the stickers. It weighs a TON and I should probably buy another one. I also have all my short cuts in there too, in the same pages as my Great Length stickers. I put my ABC and big stickers I buy at the LSS in the big pages that can hold 10x12 paper. They also have these (about) 5 or 6" x 10 pockets that have a zipper down the side- also good for bigger stickers or the the thank you gift packs CM gives out. I think it's EXTREMELY sturdy- much more so than the CIS one my mom has. I don't think hers could hold nearly as much as mine holds, but it works for her cause she doesn't have as much stuff! :p It's a bit pricey, but maybe your CMC can give you a price break if you buy a ton of the sticker holder sheets.

I have the CIS sticker binder too. I had some of the CM pages in the binder with CIS pages, and the CM ones were just too thick and only held the CM stickers. I like the way you can get different pages with the CIS to hold the many different size of sticker strips that are sold.

I actually have 3 of the paper/sticker binders. One holds my normal stickers, one holds my holiday stickers and paper, and the third uses only the 12x12 pages and holds all my cardstock. It's a nice way to keep the different colors separate. Unfortunately, Michael's only sells the multi-packs, so I buy all my 12x12 and border pages at my LSS. They sell them in packs of 10 or individually.

I have two of the CIS PSB's. I use these for my bigger stickers. I liked it better than the CM one because that one seemed restrictive to their stickers only. Now for my Jolees and MAMBI Soft Spoken embellishments, things of that size, I use a tackle box and they're in there on their sides kinda like a filing cabinet.

Thanks for the quick responses to my additional questions: Now I'm more confused as you all bring up good points about the benefits/weaknesses of each binder. Price isn't that much of an issue as I know I'm dealing with high quality stuff, I just asked in regards to buying the refills as I saw them at Michael's last night for $34.99 for the CIS paper binder - I'm assuming that this was a multipack, whereas with the CM binder it seems as if I would have to buy individual inserts. I am actually not sure how many inserts I'm going to need until I actually look at them more closely - I know that the CIS binder comes with a few inserts, but the CM one doesn't & the sizes of these are important as I have a lot of different sized stickers.

Thanks again for the great info, Tiger

I have my CM catalog right here- the binder, for $25, comes with 3 sticker protectors (I believe one each of studio strip size, block size and great length). For $2 each (which for studio would hold 16 different strips--I layer mine by group- I don't just have one strip in each compartment- I might put a theme in one pocket like baby or something; block it would have 8 pockets; great length 6 pockets) you can get the block, GL or studio protectors. For the big paper protectors (which I use for my ABC stickers and my big stickers I buy at the LSS, they are also $2. The accessory protectors, which have the zipper thing, those are $3.

The CM protectors are thicker, but they are VERY sturdy and won't rip on you unless you absolutely jam pack it (and I have mine pretty jam packed). There is also a little flap over each sticker pocket so they can't slide out and if you're really anal retentive, you can label the flaps by category.

I have the CM sticker binder. For my non CM stickers I use Hard CD disk's holders and business card pockets that you can get at an office supply store. They work great.

I also have the CM binder and love it. I have it full of CM pages, but I also have a few of another brand that I've received in swaps or whatever. The CM protectors are by far the thickest and hold up very well. The other protectors were very flimsy, almost like a page protector, where the CMs are like plastic type, does that make any sense?

I have a sticker box, it came with a huge assortment of stickers. I always just added to that, but I started getting too many and lots of oversized ones that didn't fit. Well, the other day in the Target $1 section, I found some 8 1/2 x 11 files. They are perfect for my stickers, they all fit and I can sort them into categories. I have so far, letters, disney, baby, etc.

Thanks for the specific info re: CM binder. I just called my CMC and we also get 3 sheets here in Canada (she lets us pick which ones). The sticker protectors are: $3.35, Paper protectors are: $3.35 and Accessory Proctectors are: $4.75 - the binder is $40.00. What a difference these Canadian prices are as compared to your USD prices - they haven't adjusted for our high Canadian dollar at all.

Thanks for the info - I think I'm leaning toward the CM binder as I called around & no one except Michael's has the CIS binder (but they are out right now). Actually one LSS can order for me at $58.00, but she isn't sure when it would be available.

I needed something to put stickers in one day, so I grabbed a regular 3 hole binder and some of my son's baseball card protector sheets. That worked good for me. I have some of the other sticker holder sheets now, but still have some stickers in the card protector sheets.

hmmm-
for all mu lumpy stuff -thats what I did - bought a three ring binder and then bought the baseball card and business card protectors as well as some regular page protectors -
I REALLY LOVE the fact that the binders sit right on the shelf you label the edge and the pages are not oversized and floppy - I might have to switch my stickers to a simialr format now too - since I mostly scrap at home and I don't even use a ton os stickers anymore!
Thanks for starting this threads and making me think about that dust collecting cis.

ah my poor stickers... they are all hanging off a coat rack currently. In ziplock bags in various groups.. holidays, winter, etc. the cat thinks it's great fun to bat at them :) maggie
