How Do We Tell Magic Bands Apart?

We have a spilt stay (AKL, Cruise, CB and AKV) and received 3 sets of Magic Bands. Each family member has their own color assigned to them but how do I figure out which set goes with which part of the stay?

I know it is too late now but I just put different numbers to the right of the name coordinating to the nights. I don't even think you will need the different magic bands. They should be able to use the same magic band for your entire trip- at least that is how it worked for me

It doesn't matter. You can use any one of them or all of them. They are just links to your MDE account. They don't have any info on them.

It doesn't matter; don't worry about that. you can use them interchangeably.

Some will say to watch out for glitches, but if a glitch is going to happen it's going to happen. Whole concept of a glitch is that there's no real rhyme or reason.

Since they just are a link to my info, don't actually have info for a particular resort or w.e. on them, it doesn't matter. We each had two different colors and just picked which one went best with our outfit, lol!

No worries at all. I wondered the same thing about ours, but as long as everything is logged in under the same My Disney Experience account you'll be fine. Currently my account shows that I have 4 magicbands and everything works fine.

Actually, I'm pretty certain only one band per person is "active" at any given time. You can change them if you want to, but you'd have to stop by the front desk to do it. We had three sets for our trip too but only used one set. We'll use the same ones on our next trip too. Hoping Disney adds a "Do you already have Magic Bands" question when making a reservation. A person can only use so many rubber bracelets. :/ Plus it's a total waste of money on their part.

Every band you get is active and able to pull information from Disney's servers. T
You can deactivate and reactive the bands on the MDE website. But they all come in the box active no matter how many you already have.
