How do we request a specific server?

We will be cruising on the Magic again this April and would like to request one of the servers we had last time again. How do you do this? We booked through a TA if that makes a difference.

Have your TA call DCL and have the request added to your reservation. Be aware, that the same server may not be available. How recently was your last Magic cruise?

You can also email DCL directly at dcl.reservations@disneycruise.com, give them your name, your upcoming reservation number(s) and your desired server's name. They will respond, telling you that the request has been noted, but (like Shmoo said) also that they cannot guarantee the server will be on that sailing or otherwise available.

We have done this three times and gotten our requested server twice. The third time was my fault because I asked for a specific dining rotation that didn't match my desired server's rotation.

It was last April, but I confirmed she was onboard as recently as last week.
