Awwww thanks Lauren! i've had fun sharing the trip with everyone, too - it's funny how things come back to you when you're writing about the day. It's really helped me remember more of the funny and special things that happened. It was also great at the end of each day to make notes knowing i'd use them for the TR!

lol, no, no more trips planned...not yet anyway. my BF has expressed some interest in going with me, maybe i will be able to plan something for next winter or spring!

It was DEFINITELY exhausting!! i was sooooooo glad to have two more days before i had to go back to work!

I know what you mean! At my job we get three weeks of vacation time but you have to take two together. So in May I go to Disney for 8 nights and then I have a week to recover. I'm really looking forward to it! Whenever I think I have too much stuff planned, I tell myself I have a week to sleep when I get home.

Well, what really sucked is that my office manager took her vacation the week after mine. So i came back on the Monday and she was gone and i was in charge of the office for 10 days (straight, with only one day off towards the middle) and doing both her work and mine. NOT the way to do it, trust me! i was completely exhausted after both of our vacations had finished!

Heck, i'm exhausted now after just one extra day on my own!!!

We got the Eeyore and Cinderella tattoos at DHS, there was a little stand opposite Rock N Roller Coaster in their little courtyard. i believe they were $7 each. They lasted a long time!

i promise i will! You know that feeling when you have like 20 active subscriptions and you haven't logged in for over a week, and just the thought of signing in is daunting? That's where i was til i got the email with your post on Thursday and realised someone might actually have noticed i'd gone missing, so i'd better make the time to show up!

i've been writing my final thoughts in my head (TR final thoughts, nothing more sinister!!) and will try to get them posted soon!!

my BF would like to go but it's hard to schedule. Maybe next year. i really want to stay at POFQ but we'd need free dining or something to make it affordable!

Yes, my life seems wild and fraught with danger, doesn't it? You mean normal people don't get run over by fridges?

Two of my best friends work in a large appliance and electronics store, and while visiting them one day i got abandoned looking at CDs while they were helping customers (how rude! ). The rack i was looking at was on the end of the aisles, and the appliance section was behind me. i was so engrossed in what i was reading on the back of a CD case that i didn't notice the employee behind me pushing someone's new fridge on a dolly.

Very exciting story, eh? Not quite as dramatic as it first sounds, lol.

i've never been good at goodbyes, conclusions, or endings of any kind. When i read a book, i usually only make it through the first chapter before i have to go read the end. This way i get to know what happens (even though it rarely makes sense) and it doesn't feel like an ending.

i know, it's sad.

That habit leaves me completely unprepared for writing an ending to this story. The fact that it's a true story and therefore does have a definable and inescapable ending, doesn't make it easier to write.

But i'm gonna do the best i can. Let's start with things i forgot to mention. In no particular order.

• On the bus on i believe our last day at EPCOT, we met the second person who recognised my LGMH from the DIS. Her DISname is belle1997 and she was incredibly sweet and fun to talk to. She was there with her son on their first mother-son trip and they were both having a really good time. It was wonderful to meet someone NICE from the DIS (not that all of y'all aren't nice, i just mean in comparison with my previous....encounter).
• i managed to get a total of 18 pressed pennies. i was pretty pleased with this total since i'd been aiming for 20. Some of them were done on Canadian pennies (shhhh).
• almost every single day i was there gellybean was planning to phone me in the evening, and every single evening i was just too exhausted to talk to her. i really wish i'd made the energy to talk, since we almost never get to talk on the phone.

Next how about that picture i promised you?

i love this picture. We had to hold still for ages since it was so dark, and i think it turned out really nicely.

Hmmm, what else?

Would i go back? Yes, in a heartbeat. Would i go with my sister again? No, probably not. If and when i go again it will either be with my BF, by myself, or with someone i know will go on all the rides with me. (i know my BF would do almost no rides with me but i'd still like to go with him).

We went to see an IMAX 3D show a couple of weeks ago and it made me long for Soarin'.

i've tried several times to save my digital scrapblog pages as jpegs to post them here but some of them stubbornly refuse to save correctly, so i'm just going to post the link to view it. There are 30-some pages so it takes a while to load and you probably want to give yourself a fair few minutes to go through it!

Even when you go to view it on this link, some of it is NOT as it should be and it is DRIVING ME INSANE! i'm really worried that when i get the book it won't have printed correctly, despite my having emailed them and them emailing me back promising they've checked it carefully for the errors i've pointed out.

However, since i finally did get to view it and it was right i DID order it and gellybean has received it and forwarded it on to me! It should be here this week sometime! Whoot! i'm hoping to give a copy to Jess as her graduation present in June!

my Disney Scrapblog

Somewhere along the way i totally lost track of my "Ways we love Disney", so i'll try to get hold of them all here:

Things i love about Disney:

1. Sharing the magic. Where else is a whole roomful of people going to sigh and smile dreamily in unison?

2. Characters! It is so wonderful to be able to hug and talk to them! (especially Eeyore of course!)

3. Kona! It really was that good.

4. Wishes. Wow.

5. SOARIN'! Possibly the best ride EVER and one of the coolest experiences of my life. SO great!
apparently mislabeled as #4, so i am already shuddering to see how much more i screwed up the numbering!

6. Somehow they make waiting *fun*!

7. The amazing effort they put into their shows. Everything from the costumes to the acting to the animatronics to the singing - it was truly spectacular.

8. Soarin'. i just can't get enough.

9. The World Showcase. All those countries there to explore and experience...how cool is that?!

Hmmmm... i'm sure in my mind when i started this TR there were more things, but i guess they got lost to time. Soarin' deserves at least 10 more mentions, Kona too. i've been rereading my own TR just now and i can't believe i was going so fast at the beginning but have now delayed the ending for a whole month! That's terrible! Here it is at last though, and i thank all of y'all for sticking with me and coming along for the ride!
