How do we get there & can we get back?

Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong spot but my questions are about transportation to our ADR's...

Staying at CSR. ADR at Chef Mickey's at 7:40am. Our plan is to take a Disney bus to MK then walk or monorail over to CR. Is this an option? I know we could get a taxi & it would be easier. Aside from doing that...would the other work? What time do the busses & monorail start? It is not an EMH AM day at MK so wasn't sure how early a bus would take us there.

Also wondering about getting back from the Boardwalk another night. Will bus to HS then boat to the Boardwalk. How late can we stay & still get a boat back to HS & a bus back to our resort? This is a non park day for us so can't go thru Epcot. Fantasmic is at 9:00 (we're not going, but just for a point of reference.)

There are "early dining" buses that start about 6:30. Often, if not crowded, the driver may drop you off at CR on the way to or from MK. Note the distance from MK Bus Station to CR is about the same as the distance from MK Bus station to the monorail platform, so it is faster to walk.

Not worth taking a taxi unless you are running late; it is in the $15-$20 range.

For getting back to Resort after Boardwalk, there may be buses, but more than likely you are best off taking a bus to DTD and change there.

I agree that based on the location of the Magic Kingdom Bus station that it will be easier and faster for you to walk over to the Contemporary.
