the movie at the end of Maelstrom? Last time,I took the wrong exit and ended up in some kind of machinery room! :rotfl: Thanks!!

You just have to walk through the theater...nothing to it. :thumbsup2

yeah just walk through to the other side... or follow most of the people, usually people don't stick around for it :thumbsup2

Unfortunately, you have to wait in the area where the ride ends till the doors open up for the movie. As stated above, you can then walk right through the theatre area. There is no way to avoid the wait of the doors opening unless you have some sort of emergency. Jim

I feel kind of bad because usually only a handful of people stay for it, but there's so many other things to do! Yup, we just walk on through! :)

When we went early Dec. of 2004 the doors to the theater we open all the time and you didn't have to wait on them. We rode it about 5 times in a row and never had to wait for them to open the theater. Also, the movie wasn't even playing. Maybe they had some trouble with it, but I liked not having to wait to get out.

That's lucky! I hate having to wait on the other side of the doors.

I always feel bad too!!!! The first time we ride it each trip, we stay and watch the movie. If we ride it again (which we usually do because there's no line), we slink through with our heads down in a guilty kind of way. But since we've seen it once, we REALLY don't need to see it again!! :wave2:

Yes, you can wait for the theater doors to open; but sometimes that's quite a wait. Or you can walk through the door to the left of the theater doors (located to the back of the waiting area). That door will put you back onto the main Norway area, bypassing the theater alltogether. There may be a CM on duty near the door, but you may simply walk around her to make your escape.

However, the movie is only about 5 minutes long and if you haven't seen it on some previous trip you might want to sit and watch. It's pretty well done methinks.

Enjoy.

We always skip the movie too. The last time we were there we were able to get off the boat at the right time for the doors to be open so we didn't even have to wait. I didn't realize there was "escape" door to the left. Thanks for the tip.

We usually ride a few times so we watch the movie the first time through then skip it the rest of the times. :thumbsup2
