How do the crowds in July compare to Spring Break Crowds?

Our last two trips were right in the middle of spring break and we didn't find the parks that bad. Some long lines, but fast pass was wonderful, or else we'd just go on to something else and return later.

We are now going in July...I know it will be hot and crowded, but is there a chance I'll be pleasantly surprised, and say to ourselves "this is nothing compared to spring break!"

What do you think? Am I dreaming?

Well, spring break is staggered over several weeks, and so is July. In the heat, it might feel more crowded. We try to go in off times to avoid all of this.

Umm...yeah, I think you are dreaming I'd have to go check the average attendance levels, but I think it's about a 1/3 more.

Check the Touring Plans site and see. I haven't looked yet, but I think they predict spring break to be on par with, or close to, highest peak crowds. I think summer is just slightly lower. Again, I'd check the grid to see the pattern.

Also, it depends on what you consider "spring break". I consider it to be the two weeks bordering Easter, but for those in college, it may mean anytime from March 1st thru April 30th, regardless of when Easter falls. It's possible that the first week of March is similar to July crowd wise.
