How do Starbucks addicts survive in Disney?

Is the SoG Starbucks full service? I am frap junkie!!

Well I do not drink coffee but was with someone who got coffee there. It is small. I think it only sells coffee.
The SOG info I have says it sells coffee and pastries and is only open 6am-1pm. And I do remember it being closed in the afternoon and evenings.

We bring our own Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts French Vanilla. It's the only way.
The only way...................................:surfweb:

There's also a coffee bar at CSR. It's not Starbucks, but they make espresso, etc.

In HS, there's Starring Rolls with a coffee bar.

There WAS a coffee bar at Pop, but I think they recently closed it. I'm not sure if they are replacing that part or not.

In the AM, they have a coffee bar in front of the castle in MK. It's only a coffee bar w/ espresso etc. in the am - later in the day it either closes or changes over to ice cream/popcorn.

Thre are several espresso places in the WS too. There's a cart (I'm thinking near Italy), plus in the France and Norway pastry shops.

There is an outlet mall right on the other side of Rt 4, over by Little Lake Bryan. It's only a few minutes off property. There is a Starbucks there if you need a fix. That's where we go sometimes.

We always travel with our grinder and our Starbucks beans. I have never had any problems having them in a checked bag. I even bought one of those $9.99 coffee makers for the time we stayed at ASMu.

I love Starbuck's hot Mocha's. Where can you get a good Mocha at the parks or resorts, even if not SB's?

As a previous poster mentioned - at the Resorts Food Courts - take your Refillable Mug and fill it 1/3 with hot chocolate and the rest with coffee. Passable mocha.

I actually do it with 1/2 of each with some creamer involvement; but to each his own :thumbsup2

Sounds like it's time for a road trip to downtown Celebration..one of the better Starbucks you'll find and it's in a really fantastic setting on the lake.

I guess the only other option is to bring an espresso machine and set it up.

I seriously considerd doing it last time until my bf pointed out that it might make too much noise.

Hot coco and the bring your own sustained me.

A Starbucks at Celebration? A real one with all the good stuff? That's great! Thanks.

There are a few coffee carts or espresso machines. Starring Rolls was mentioned at DHS. Boardwalk Joes on the Boardwalk (but it isn't open mornings for some inconceivable reason). Kona Cafe at the Poly. If you are looking for brewed coffee, bringing your own is the best bet and making it in the room.

Disney has a large contract with Nestle and has for years, and Nestle pretty much GIVES Disney their coffee. Nestle does make good coffee, but it isn't the stuff they give to Disney.

If you want an espresso like drink without the espresso machine, a press pot can make a decent espresso like shot - and its easy to pack. Milk and a microwave, plus a small bottle of Torani syrup packed in your luggage can do most of the rest. My favorite cheap home latte is the Medaglia D'Oro instant espresso powder in a microwaved mug of hot milk with a touch of almond extract and a spoon of sugar. I'd skip the almond extract if I was traveling, the rest is easy to pack if you have access to a microwave.

DH works part-time at Starbucks... talk about an addict. :worship: He gets a free pound of coffee each week. I'm not a coffee drinker... so I'm left to wonder just how much coffee can one human being consume as the bags pile up in the fridge and the pantry! ;)

He has never brought coffee with him... he transitions to Diet Coke for his caffeine fix. But he has traveled to Poly for a cup of coffee when the jones gets too strong to ignore!

I'll keep my fingers crossed that the offsite Starbucks of everyone's choice will not fall prey to the upcoming closings. 600 Starbucks nationwide will be closed in the not-too-terribly-distant future... hopefully Orlando will not be affected!
