We are staying in the WL this New Years and we are addicted to Starbucks. Is there good drip coffee or espresso on site?

Actually, you can just go to Starbucks!!!! ;) There is an actual Starbucks in the Swan/Dolphin on the Boardwalk!

Otherwise, Poly & AKL are supposed to have great coffee!

Sorry if this isn't exactly what you wanted to know but.... Dbf and I have never had to look for good coffee. We buy a bag from Starbucks, or whichever tastes good, grind it ourselves (or just buy it pre-grinded), and then use the coffee makers in the room. It never fails. :thumbsup2

We also bring our own coffee; grind it up before we leave home and then brew it up in the room every morning. Mmmmmm, mmmmmm, good! :thumbsup2

It's not easy. I don't drink just regular coffee from Starbucks--I do the cappucino's and java chip frappucinos. My DH graciously takes a ride either on our way back to the resort or on our way back to the park two or three times during our stay so I don't go totally wacky.

I never knew about the Dolphin!
DH won't bring coffee on the plane because he heard it causes handlers to go through your things because coffee covers up drug scent for dogs. Long story, sorry. Sooooo, after about 5 days of withdrawl, DH dragged me over to the Polynesian to get Kona cafe which he had heard was amazing but he was kind of disappointed by it. He will be SO HAPPY to hear about the Dolphin - thank you!!
PS. Cast members recommended the coffee on Main Street in the store by the candy shop but he just pitched it after trying it once. A tin with a vintage Mickey on it. Don't do it.

Shades of Green has a Starbucks.

Then ship a small package to the resort before you show up if you dont want to take it on the plane. Then the coffee can be there for you to use and you dont have to worry about them going thru your stuff (although they very well may anyway)

Well, not exactly - they do have brewed Starbucks coffee in the CS at the Dolphin, but not an actual Starbucks store (so no frappucinos, no caramel macchiatos, no doubleshot + energy, etc.). Just plain old Starbucks brewed coffee.

Sounds horrible, but I buy either the iced coffee, double shots, or fraps, pack them in my suitcase and fly them in.

They won't let you take the glass bottles inside the park, but you can use the styrofoam coffee cups that they leave you in your room, fill them with ice, pour, and take that into the park with you.

I also tote along a few bottles of wine in the suitcase, although those really don't leave the room.

Is that what they have at shades of green?

The Dolphin has very good Starbucks coffee! On our Dolphin trips, we went down to Picabu with our refillable mugs every time we needed coffee. They have both caffeinated and decaf Starbucks.

Yes SOG has a Starbucks.
I do not drink coffee so here is a stupid question-How far will you travel for a cup of Starbucks coffee? Do you go out of your way to get one? See I am clueless.

SoG also has Starbucks

OOOOOPPPPPSSSSS Should read the entire thread before I post :lmao:

There's a coffee bar at the Poly (Kona Island Cafe Coffee Bar). It's not Starbucks, but it's good.

A year ago, we had to drive about 5-10 miles offsite to get a caramel machiatto. I'm hoping to find a full-service Starbucks closer to WDW. Any information will be welcome!

There is a starbucks 0n the 192 just east of the I4

Starbucks addicts??
I am sick of drinking coffee, probably one of the downfalls of my job!!
