How do other party members see dining plans in DLR app?

Hi, I am used to WDW where my travel party can see the plans if I add their names to the booking in their app login as well. Here at DLR I have multiple bookings and I want my travel companion to be able to see them in their Disneyland app.... is there a way to do this? I am not finding it... thanks. There's some older stuff saying it's not possible, but hoping that maybe they've either added it since or there is at least some habits people have developed I can use for this solution (other than doing like iPhone calendar reminders.... best I got so far)

Great question. I asked the same thing in a different thread yesterday and hope to get feedback here! I think it may still not be possible, unfortunately.

I tried back-dooring a family member into a reservation I made by having them manually add it under "my plans" on the website (not the app). It was rejected because it's already linked to me. I've been forwarding the confirmation emails so at least my family member can add it to their calendar (I know, not the app but it's at least something).

I know so much about DLR, but this is one area where I'm stumped!

The data model used at Disneyland is fundamentally different than WDW. Disneyland doesn’t have a first class representation of a “person”. Only an Account and Tickets. So you can have a Ticket on multiple Accounts, but Reservations are only attached to an Account. So the only way for other people to see the Reservations are to share Accounts.

You could screenshot the reservations and text them, but otherwise, as advised by those above, you'll have to have your companion log into your account if you want them to have access to the reservations on the app.

Depending on your travel party and other factors, it may be easier to have the reservation on their device's calendar. I realize this is probably not the answer you wanted/were hoping for.

Yes, I forward the confirmation email and my other party member can simply add it to calendar. Agreed, not optimal but an easy solution.
