how do magic hours work?

Can someone please tell me how magic hours work. I am especially interested in evening hours, since morning hours will be too early. I am staying at the Swan. Thank you, Mindy

Basically, specific parks will stay open past closing time for resort guests. If MK closes at 9pm, then from 9pm till Midnight, those who are resort guests can stay.

The way it works is that you show your resort ID up to 2 hours before closing time, they give you a wristband, then you can hang out for the EMH and go on the rides they leave open.

They do include the Dolphin/Swan as part of the resort guests.
