Someone in another thread gave me some great advice about buying my niece and nephew so cal tickets to save money. Since this is going to save me money I can take my other 2 nieces. They are only in elementry and dont have school ids what proof will i need? Keep in mind I am not a so cal resident and will have normal resort and part tickets.

thanks

I would see if they can get a printout from their school of their record. My sons record has his name, address, general info and their school picture. They can also use a passport if they have one.

They show their portfolios and give you their theatrical
agent's business card.

From what I've heard, Disney may want something with the person's address/zipcode, proving they are SoCal residents.
If there isn't some type of school record that can be copied to show residency you could try this....

A few weeks before the trip send them an invitation on a postcard.
It would have their name, address and zip code on it.
You could use this when you go to buy the tickets to prove their residency.

Once they receive the invitation in the mail you can handle it two ways.
1. Have them bring it when they come to go to the parks with you. Hopefully they won't forget to bring it that day. OR
2. Have them mail the post cards back to you in an envelope. This way you'll have them a head of time and can pick up the tickets the day before to save time.

You're going to have quiet a group of kids. All of you are going to have a BLAST!!

Are you a SoCal resident? If you are talking about the 2-3 day SoCal tickets, only the person purchasing the tickets must reside. The people that they are purchased for, do not need to be residents. We live in Seattle, and recently used these. My BFF is a SoCal resident and passholder, and she bought the tickets. The idea (as described by CM when I called) is that they can be used by SoCal residents for personal use or to bring family/friends, who are not residents, to enjoy the parks.

I was looking at it, and I'm not sure it would save you money?

The price of a 2 day hopper is only $23 more than a 1 day at the current gate price, and they'd have until 5/21 to use the second day.

It's more than the 1 day ticket, which is what you had planned to buy, right? And then they would have to be taken back to use the second day...by, I assume, people that hadn't yet taken them to Disneyland despite living in so cal?
