Ok I'm faced with the same dilemma as silmarg. School here starts September 9th as well. I would save almost $1000 even with the flight changes if I switch cruises to a week later. Decisions decisions...

too many chefs in the kitchen planning this trip... but hoping to finalize real soon.

My family and 1 (husband and 2 sons-11 and 9) will be on this cruise with two other families. This will be our second time and our friends' first. We would love to participate in the fish extender program. We are all so looking forward to this vacation!

Since you want to participate in the Fish Extender Exchange, add your info to the Fish Extender List as well. We also have a Craft Brew Exchange going. Assuming there is and official FE keeper, please add me to the FE!!!!

Just paid off the cruise, so we could starting booking on Saturday.

When did you have to start prepaying the gratuties before boarding the ship???? I knew they would automatically be added to our ship account, but didn't know that they had to be paid before boarding.

Also, booked our precruise stay at WDW (25% off discount - started today for Caribbean Beach). It's starting to become real now. Next up, booking flights and figuring out how we're getting from the resort to the Port.

What excursions is everyone thinking about? DD and I are going to maybe do an excursion to Buck Island in St. Thomas. In St. Martin - thinking about taking public transportation to the French side of the island.

When I got to taking on the FE list (which is being kept on Facebook) I was surprised that no one was on it from Vancouver - since I knew you wanted in.

Are you on FB? That way you will know all the other FE participants

I was under the impression that PIF is only needed to book excursions (and not for Palo/Remy). I hope that is true.

For St.Maartin we are gonna do a private excursion. For St. Thomas, I want to head over to St. John.
