How do I request a specific location for my POR ressie?????

Gosh, we are getting close! Jan 3-8 POR non-smoking waterview, here we come. I sure would like a nice riverview. From reading all the wonderful posts, I think I should be requesting AB 14 or 27. Could someone tell me the way to do this? I remember reading somewhere about faxing this request, but I don't have the number....... Anyway, sounds like I will be seeing some of my fellow board members down there....Hope you all have a wonderful time!

Besides faxing in your requests, you could always call reservations and make sure that those requests are noted on the reservation as well

I just called reservations and had them add my request to my reservation. You could fax a request, but I've heard that the reservations request will be more than enough. As for buildings, you may want to find a resort map before you make a specific building request. I'm fairly sure that the only "waterview" from building 14 is a pool view. Bldg 14 is close to everything -- bus stop, food court, etc. -- but I don't think you can see the river from it. I haven't been there yet, but I have studied the map and I'm pretty sure this is correct. Someone who is more familiar may be more help.

Actually only one side of Bldg. 14 has a river view. But I think Bldg. 14 is one of the best at POR. Bldg. 18 is also great with a view of the quiet pool. None of the buildings have a view of the main pool.

Hi....I always fax my request 4 days before check-in after 4pm. This seems to be the best time. I also put Disney character's and fun cartoon pictures on the fax. The fax number can be found at www.wdwig.com.

When I asked about faxing room requests they told me that the resort wouldn't have my ressie until 3 days prior to check-in.
