Sorry if this has been asked before but exactly what number do I call (including dialling codes) to make a PS from the UK?

I tried to call on Friday and was told the number was not recognised... :0(

Also has anyone tried any of the carriers that you dial first and then dial the US number from to bring the call cost down to a penny a minute? I tried to use Rate Buster and I'm wondering if maybe it was their service that didn't recognise the number...

Haven't used anything other than the direct number of 001-407-939-3463 But I have never had any problem with that :)

The number to phone, including dialling code is: 001 407 939 3463

I used it the other day so it does work. They open at 12 noon UK time (7am in Florida). Can't answer about using someone before making the calls - I dread to think what my one hour call to CRO last week to book my room cost!!

i rang 0844 4628181 before the number which was supposed to be cheaper but don't think it was as low as 1 penny a minute. I read it on another thread.

if you in dvc they will do it for you on yhe freephone number

I've used Telediscount & JustDial to make my PS phone calls with no problems :)

Hello Rosiejo
I've called to do PS's a couple of times in the last week. I've used the 001 407 939 3463 number, and called at about 5.30 pm. I've been lucky at that time of day in getting through immediately and saving some money by having no wait. Friends of mine have tried calling at other times of day and have had to hold for up to forty minutes - I don't think I would be so patient! I didn't know about the cheap call rates you can get. Its great what you find out on these boards. :flower:
Best of luck with your PS's.
Rosie

Trust me, the cost isn't as bad as you may think to call from the UK :flower:
We've called a few times over the years, and waited for the phone bill with baited breath.
Okay, it's not what you'd call cheap but, even after holding and quite a lengthy call, I'd say it's cost us £5 at the most. For something as special as a Disney PS......... :wizard: If it can be made cheaper by calling one of the cheap call companies please show me the way :teeth:

i would not say spending £7000.00 pound on DVC is the best way to get free calls to do PS but a nice peark

If only it was as cheap as that..... :rotfl2:

Edinburghlass, Thanks for the post regarding the cheap US phone calls. Please can you tell me whether there are any additional charges apart from the 3p connection charges? I cant believe that they can stay in business charging those prices!! :confused3

I share a house with flat mates so don't want to start getting charged for signing up - plus the fact that I would only use this service for calling to get my P.S's
