How do I plan this?

So I'm starting my trip solo, 1 day ahead of the other 2 people that are joining me. 2 of the days of our trip, myself and one other person will be at a convention but the 3rd person wants to go to the parks. They've never been, I've been several times so I was going to book our LL's. Since we are on 2 different reservations, I know I won't be able to book all 3 of us when my window opens so I either have to book mine and hope to match theirs, or wait another day to book everyones at once. Thoughts on this? Also, since the one person will be on her own during the convention, can both of us have control of her account? Sorry if this is confusing. It is to me!

You don’t need to have “control” of someone’s account to book LLs - as long as you’re friends in MDE, you can book them lightning lanes though.

As for whether to wait - I probably would book my own but then be prepared to potentially drop or modify the next day if you need to line up. It is sometimes easier to book LLs for just one person, so, depending on the ride, it might be ok to just try to line up. That said, for really popular rides like Slinky Dog and Tiana’s, if you’re hoping to match, you would probably do better booking for later in the day because earlier times go first. But you should also think if you might be willing to do rides at different times for those really popular rides.
