How do I make reservations for character dining?

I just called this number-(407)503-3463 and was told Mythos had the character meals and was transferred to another phone that didn't take reservations! Why doesn't Universal have one central dining reservation # like Disney? Also, I thought it was Confisco Grille that had the character dining, not Mythos!

Update: Just called again and was told that there is no such thing as a character breakfast anywhere-just character dinners at the hotels and only on Friday. Boy, in this case, Universal is just like Disney-You get a different answer everytime you call!

I guess what I wanted was a character meal anytime between Sunday, December 7 and Tuesday night, December 9-Can anybody help me out!

No character meals at Mythos....unless that's changed. They have a character breakfast at Confisco's on weekends. Call the operator and ask to be transferred to the restaurant. They will help you. I went through the same thing when I made my bookings. Operator: 407-363-8000 and press 0.

I just got off the phone with them at Confisco Grille. I made a reservation for the character breakfast they have on Fri. Sat and Sun mornings (9:00am - 10:30am). It is with The Cat in the Hat (not sure about other characters there). It costs $13.99 for adults (not sure about children as mine are considered adults) The number to call is: 407-224-4404. The girl on the phone said you really don't have to make a reservation, you can just walk in.

Hmmm.... that is odd. I just called last night and was told the Cat and the Hat breakfast on the weekends is $17 for adults and $11 for children and that I had to pay ahead of time to get a voucher and it would sell out quickly. I was going to call back today to make my reservation so we'll see

Just got off the phone with the Confisco Grill. Now I am really confused!!!

I only had to give my last name and my breakfast time. No mention of voucher, paying ahead of time, etc. It is $8.99 for children and $13.99 as mentioned earlier.

Universal really needs to coordinate their dining efforts like Disney does. Getting different answers when you call different numbers is a big problem.

marley, I believe they are actually giving you information based on 2 different meals/events.

They have a new breakfast that included a movie to see cat in the hat and a breakfast either before or after at SuessLanding.
This was run as a promtion and may have been expanded.

The other breakfast is at Confiscos on weekends and that is the less expensive one you were quoted.

Thanks for all the info-I will call on Monday morning and see what happens! But I agree with someone else, they should have one central dining number-They are big enough now to need that!
