How do I make more people view my threads?

I want more people to view my threads. For example, I've noticed that some threads are viewed by 1,000 people. How can I give my threads that many people's attention?

In looking at your thread history, most, or all, of the ones you started seem to revolve around new or alternate ideas (very creative BTW) for rides, etc at Disney.

Going out on a limb here (I have in the past and have fallen many times, LOL) that those threads will get most views and participation on the rumor board http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=36 here on the DIS. Looking there, seems most threads get a pretty good number of views, though not necessarily a lot of replies. I would think the folks who visit that board are the more 'in depth', creative Disneyphiles, of which I think is a much smaller number than here on this community board.

Here, for the most part, people talk about a lot of non-Disney stuff, though not limited to non-Disney stuff. Anything can be talked about on this board, as long as it is within their guidelines. With that, I am thinking that a creative Disney idea thread will get lost quite quickly here on this board...actually, any thread can get lost quite quickly here. On the rumor board, the first page has threads all the way back to 12/13, and the default cutoff of normally displayed threads, 30 days, only go to page 2. Here on this board, the first page usually goes back 30-60 minutes, (except overnight) and 30 days goes back 50 pages (and this is a slower time of the year, the holiday season). You can post here but it will get lost very quickly. On the rumor board, it will be visible for weeks, thereby creating more views, and hopefully replies.

One other thought is to maybe ask on the rumor board what other non-DIS forums are out there that maybe focus more on those types of threads, creative Disney ideas. I think this one might be along those lines..

Another suggestion - put any of these two words in your thread title -
1. refillable mugs
2. pool hopping
3. line swapper
4. ecv's fat
5. ecv's lazy
6. Disney boring

Also, don't over think the title. Often, the title's about absolutely nothing, such as "How do I get more people to view my threads", will get the most views.
