HOw do I look up a ticket without linking it?

I have a park hopper pass that I failed to have recorded properly from some past trip,and I'm wondering how to check it against usage without actually linking it to anyone on MDE...it's not old, it's a plastic card -I had thought it was used/expired,but when I went to MDE to input the # and check it, it asked to link it to a person....I assumed if it was unusable currently it won't ask that? I don;t want to link it to anyone at this point if it is usable(and hasn't been used)

Also, if the ticket has never been used, it won't matter if you link it to someone in your MDE.

You can freely transfer never-used tickets to other guests connected to your MDE (including guests you add in the future.)

I've got 4 tickets from 2000 that have unused portions. (They are Park Hopper Plus) I tried going thru the Disney phone lines to find out what's on them. They said to send a photo of the front and back to a web site. Got a message back that they would contact me within 5 days. 2 weeks later, nothing. Did it again. Same response, but they also said the file is too big, and I need to state where I bought them and my method of payment. That was 16 years and many trips ago!
Tried again. Now waiting again. Grrrrrrrr.
