How do I go about having the wave phones removed?? Can we??

Sitting here scratching my head why this is an issue? They don't cost a thing unless you lose or damage them.

Just got back from a Celebrity Alaska cruise with my parents and my wife and we were wishing we had the wave phones so we could keep in touch with my parents instead of having to go back to the room and call them or check our messages.

I think people are worried they will be charged if the person before or after them damages them and they instead are the one blamed for something they didn't do.

I will never forget a middle of the night search for a young adult daughter. Me in my PJ's at the GS desk, embarrassed as heck, but worried silly that it was almost 3am and I had no idea where my DD was. I had expected her a couple of hours earlier at the very least. That was pre-Wave phones. I am SO happy they have those things now, and can't wait to try out the new App. Already have it downloaded and at the ready for our Sept sailing in and from Hawaii!!! Woohoo!!!

We never really used them last time either. We might use them this time since we have a toddler, but there was not really a need on our last cruise.

Do the wave phones work from the ship to CC? Ill be doing the 5K and would like to contact my mother when I am done and meet her in the cabana. It would be great to use if this would work.

Yes - CC is effectively just an extension of the network so you can call between wave phones as you would on the ship.

If it really bothers you they fit fine in the safe. You won't hear any beeps and will remember them when you get your stuff out at the end of the voyage.
