How Do I Get Pepsi Products in WDW?

My understanding is that when the contract came up at WDW, Coke offered to build a building I believe the Ice Station and Pepsi would not do it so that is why there is only Coke products on property. So one can correct me if I am wrong. This is the story I was told a while back by a CM.

Just a warning for anyone flying to Orlando, the change in air pressure in the luggage area could cause the Pepsi to explode. My SIL had a bottle of conditioner explode on the way down last year.

Isn't the gas station that is across the street from Downtown Disney, the Hess Station that somebody just said does not carry coke?

I didn't think that was a HESS but it's been a couple of years Chevron Blue on top of my head but I could be wrong .

Wouldn't be the 1st time :rotfl2:

Now that we will be going Home ( SSR ) I will be stocking up the first day for sure. :earboy2:

Someone could make a killen on this :smooth: :smooth: :smooth: Bootleg soda :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I would think you could get Pepsi at the Hess auto service centers located on WDW grounds. Getting there might be an issue.

Nope. The Hess doesn't carry Pepsi either. I was told by the manager there that because they are still on Disney property they can't sell it. I believe Goodings offers a delivery service.

I would think perhaps wegoshop.com or netgrocer.com might be able to deliver pepsi products to you

That is what I was thinking.

I belive wegoshop has a $15 delviery fee and there might be a minium (not sure) I would do this if I had to have pespi brands. (I perfer coke myself, but don't like their diet drinks as much as 7up brand ones so I know what you mean.)

BTW I always bring a small soft cooler on the airplane (carry on, but it doesn't count as an carry on, but a personal item) and I have a few cans or bottles of pop on them. That is fine. After all they serve pop on the plane. :teeth:

Don't pack it in your checked luggage.

I feel everyones pain while reading this thread. We need to form a support group. :grouphug:

My wife and went to Seaworld one day during our last trip, on our fifth day. When we walked in and I saw a pepsi machine, I stopped and took a few pictures. In fact, before we went back to CSR, i bought a few dollars worth of diet pepsi and carried them on the Linx bus and cherished those bottles like they were ambrosia.

She thought I was crazy. :confused3

Thank god. I thought I was the only one with this sickness. I made sure and stopped off at the Wal-Mart on the way to the park and pickerd up a few 2 litters. It was rough walking around all day and only see Coke. :guilty:

My sister told me not to start this thread. She said I would just embarrass myself. I guess it's a bigger issue than just me. We are totally relying on Disney transportation. I'm sure they won't stop somewhere for me :) I don't mind paying a little extra, but paying $15 delivery fees is not something I will do. I guess I'll have to gag down Coke

It's been a problem for me too. I've carried a couple of two liter bottles of Diet Pepsi in my carry on but it's heavy. Also, DS is a Sunkist fan so he expects a bottle of this to be carried too.

That's one nice thing about having a car. Wal-Mart, here we come!

The gas station across from DTD is a Hess station. They all changed about a year ago.

I understand completely; you are among Pepsi friends!

Gotta have Mountain Dew. Also like Code Red a lot too.

About 10 years or so ago, before bottled water became so popular, WDW only sold Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite and Mr. Phib, also maybe Fanta Orange. After three days of drinking this stuff in the July heat, our whole family started to order water at every meal. We weren't trying to be cheap; we were sick of Coke products. I remember filling out a survey after our trip. I explained that they really needed to expand their drink selection. On our next trip, bottled water was available at every turn. Ok, so I'm the one to blame :confused3 maybe I should have explained clearly that the alternative should be Pepsi Products. :rotfl:

Actually in the heat of the day, soda is terrible for you, diet and regular. It's full of sodium and that will dehydrate you. Water is the best thing to drink.

You are not allowed to bring Pepsi products onsite. If caught you will be removed from the property and your hopper passes deactivated!!!! :rotfl:

Sorry, couldn't help myself. I am a Coke addict. And if it was the other way around you'd better belive I'd be bringing in my own supply.

My GF use to work at Disney and the story I got Coke if that is was Walt's favorite.

You used to be able to get Pepsi at Universal, but they have now switched totally to Coke products. Sorry! Try the Crossroads.

You know, I wonder about Bonnet Creek? Not Disney property. Would be kinda funny if they actually put a sign out by the road advertising "Pepsi Available!" Don't know if they have it, or if you can get in to get it, but might be an option.

I drink Diet Coke as well as my younger sister but my older sister who is going with us next summer drinks ONLY caffiene free diet Pepsi. I've already discussed this situation with my itineray planner in concierge and she said she would stock the fridge in our room for us. :Pinkbounc :cheer2: After all we grew up about 15 miles from where Pepsi was invented!! (New Bern, NC)

When we were there in December we went to the grocery store (I think it is at the Crossroads shopping center that is is close to Doubletree Suites at DTD) and they carry Pepsi.

Nope! :rotfl:

DH was DESPERATE for a Dew when we were there in September...we had a limo for one night and we asked the driver to stop at the Hess station near the Boardwalk Inn so he could go in and get a Dew...NONE!! :teeth: Only Coke products even there!! Poor DH!!

To the OP, I would consider either packing a small cooler as a carry-on or take a cab off-site to get some, andor wegoshop. Good Luck! :)

the last time I was there (2002) I got Mellow Yellow at the BC it tasted just like Dew. I need my Dew fix too.

Believe me, Coke is very serious about their exclusivity agreements. I worked at Emory Univ,, also known locally as Coca Cola College. Once when arriving for a ceremony to give the school several million for a building nearing completion, the coke exec spotted a pepsi machine on the work crews dock, it belonged to the construction company. He refused to give the check until it was destroyed. They fork lifted it into a compactor and then got the check. I also know people fired by coke for having been spotted drinking pepsi products. Pepsi is just as serious.
