How do I get from Contemporary to S/D?

We opted not to stay at S/D even though I have a conference - we're staying at Contemporary instead. Suggestions on the easiest way back and forth (via Disney transportation)? Probably mostly will be going early in the morning, but sometimes in the afternoon. I don't mind walking a ways if that's more efficient than a bus, etc. Thanks!

A taxi will probably be your best bet in the morning. Later in the day, you could just walk over to the MK and catch the bus from there.

I don't want to bother with a taxi, cuz work won't pay for it since I could've stayed at S/D. Other ideas?

In that case, take the bus from the Contemporary to the Studio and walk or take the boat to the Swolphin.

Although early in the morning, you may need to grab a CM and specifically ask for a bus to be dispatched to the S/D, since at that time of day most guests are arriving and not leaving the MK?...

The Friendship boats start running somewhere around 7:00 am daily. Although at that time the wait time between boats could be quite a while.

You can easily walk from the Studios to the Swan/Dolphin area in about 10-15 minutes. With your back to the Studios entrance and the water to your left just stay on that walkway. One portion goes towards the parking lot while the other curves down towards the water. Just keep walking with the water on your left and you will see the S/D coming up on your left and the Boardwalk on your right.

The buses to HS start between 6:30 am and 7:00 am.
