I've been reading tons of posts with regards to people receiving discount codes either by e-mail or postal mail. What did you have to do in order to get one sent to you. I'm going to WDW for 2 days/3 nights in June and then again in October for a week. I'd love to get a "code" for my trip in mid October. Thanks

You can sign up on disneyworld.com and register to receive emails and such. Honestly its total luck of the draw. There is no rhyme or reason why some get them and some don't. Its totally random marketing. So while signing up and doing certain things might help there really is no guarantee.

Just luck.

That is the million $ question. If anyone knew how to do it, it would be all over the boards. There is no secret. It has to do with WDW marketing. We are enrolled in every possible DW site, have taken every possible survey, have the DV card, Disney Magazine, etc. etc.. We have never received a code.

Also with the hotels so full, there is no incentive to provide a code to get guests to come.

I think it has to do with how many times you go or more importantly not go. They want to get people in there that normally wouldn't be planning a trip to Disneyworld or if they are they weren't staying on site.

I got an email a little while ago from a travel agent that I requested a quote from. She found out the name of the company Disney uses to do direct marketing and they have an option to sign up to be on their list (the marketing company, not Disney specifically). They have information about it on their web site

:cool1:

Hopefully this will get us on the magic list! :goodvibes

I'm just beginnine to understand this whole pin thing. Should I call Disney and ask if I have one, or would I definitely have been sent something if I did either mail or email. Is there any point or should I just forget it and pay full price

I have been to Disney a few times recently and would definately book tomorrow if I could get a PIN. :( Otherwise, husband says we arent going back. It's all random.
