How do I clear out the cache on my computer?

I know there are ways to do this--to clean up files, etc.--but when I've done it at school I always have a computer tech kid right next to me. It's a normal Gateway with Windows--how do I do it?

Which browser are you using - Internet Explorer or Netscape?

Microsoft internet explorer or AOL, I use both.

PS--I already figured out how to delete cookies and history on AOL==as a matter of fact I had to reregister on this site.

For temp files, go to the top of an IE page, go to 'Tools', then 'Internet Options'. On the 'General' tab, there is an icon to 'Delete Files', right next to 'Delete Cookies'. Click and click 'OK'.
