DH had a spot removed off his arm last week and had a stitch put in it. The stitch broke open over night and he bled all over the mattress.

How do I clean it?

Thanks in advance.

Try Nature's Miracle...you should be able to buy it at any pet store. It comes in a red and white bottle. Good luck!

Oxy clean by woolite...for carpets...might work...I have a cat who like to puke his food alot...leaving brown marks on beige carpet...I clean it up...spray it and walk away...when I come back...it is magically gone!! I don't know if it would work for blood but I don't see why not!

Good luck!

I second the Nature's Miracle, or any enzymatic cleaner for that matter. DFi had a problem with his toe, and the dog accidentally cut it open while running over it one day. Long story short, he bled on the carpet and I used an enzymatic cleaner on the carpet - no more blood stain. It works great on most laundry stains too.

Peroxide is my new blood stain remover! I promise it will work.

2nd this - Hydrogen Peroxide gets out blood like nobodies business. And it's cheap. :thumbsup2
