How do I avoid that icky feeling from rides?

Don't ride immediately after eating.
Drink plenty of water throughout the day: dehydration = nausea.
Ginger Pills!!!!!!!

I suffer terribly from motion sickness, and as I've gotten older it only gets worse. Until I was 40 I had great success with Bonine. Since then I've moved on to the motion sickness patch, Transderm. It is by prescription only, and you really need to talk it over with your doctor as there are many side effects. One patch lasts three days. I still can not go on spinning rides like the Teacups or Star Tours, but no problem with any of the coasters.

I get serious motion sickness from everything, even sometimes a one hour car trip. I always use Dramamine II. If I try to use regular Dramamine for a car ride, I'm out within an hour. Dramamine II doesn't make me sleepy at all and works all day with no side effects. Before my last Disney trip, I couldn't find my Dramamine II anywhere...and I checked all over town! The pharmacist told me to try Bonine because it's the same thing. I didn't ever use it because I found my favorite the day before my trip and didn't want to take a chance, but I'm sure they're the same.
