How difficult to get BCV in August using 7 month window

We are new to DVC and want to try and book a studio a BCV early August 2006 using the 7 month window.

How easy or hard is it to get BCV in August?

I just got into BCV at the 7 month window in Oct. I called day by day at 9:00 any transfered day by daym and everything went just fine. Just make sure to ask about availability for all of your days and let them know what you are doing. I have 4 nights at VWL and 5 nights at BCV can't wait!! With both resorts both me and the DH can have our cake and eat it too!!!

I booked our June trip to BCV (2BR) a couple of weeks into our 7mth window. I tried out the web-site reservation form to book the trip, and got what we wanted without any trouble.

There should be plenty of available studios at the 7mth window in August.

I think you will get it at the 7 month window. We booked BCV for the 4th of July weekend (Sat, Sun, and Mon) a few weeks ago.

Shouldn't be a problem. We booked BWV at the 11 month window..a studio. Then just past the 7 month window I changed to BCV. No problem at all and that was for mid-June.

We just booked a studio at BCV for 9 days in mid july today (12/28). No problem.

We have booked 3 times for the BCV at the 7 month window, and two of those times were for August. This year (as well as last year) I made reservations at the 11 month mark for our home resort, and then call at the 7 month window to change to BCV where the rest of our group wants to stay. I was wait listed last year for our 2 bedroom, but not the studio, and the waitlist came through after a few weeks. You shouldn't have a problem, especially for a studio.
