How difficult is it to get a dinner ADR for Cinderella's Royal Table

Does this apply even if you are on the deluxe dining plan? Or do they just hold your cc# in case you don't show?

If you are using a dining package, they just need your credit card if you are a no show and don't cancel in time. Just let them know at the time of booking.

That's how it seems to have worked for me - booked in early January, told them I was on Platinum Package... had to give CC#, but no charge was made

We just gave a cc for confirmation also because we were booked on a dining plan.

Also, had no problem snagging a dinner ressie for June 8th -- of course, now I am going to cancel it since we switched to the regular dining plan (wanted to stay at AKL and that was the corner we decided to cut). If anyone wants it, PM me and we will arrange it so that you can pick it up as I cancel. But for all I know, they still have openings for that night since dinner is supposedly easier to get.

We too got our dinner reservations for CRT at less than 180 days out, no problem at all. I purposely made it so we would be inside during the fireworks. We had a 7:45 reservation, checked in at 7:30 and were seated by 8:00. As soon as we were seated the fireworks started, and we had window seats. It was our favorite thing of our whole trip. I love it when a plan comes together!

I am 180 out today and I called at 7:00am EST to get all my ADR's. I was worried because I wanted dinner at CRT for my son's birthday 08/16 which is on a saturday night..I asked for 6:00 and she responded it was not available she had 5:50pm instead I didn't ask for breakfast at CRT this time.. but our last vacation I got a ADR with no trouble about 90 days out.

I am supposed to call on Tuesday to make my dinner reservations.... what's the best work flow to follow when calling ?

I have heard there are people that have this down to the T...

Dial # press x.x.x.x.x and then say "blah"

Can someone relay any tips... ?

If you are staying at WDW, start calling 190 (180 + 10) days ahead. I called New Years eve and was able to get 8:30 am on June 27th. Make sure you have your credit card ready because they actually charge the meal at the time of booking. Good luck...Hope you get to dine in the Castle.

lets just say, our travel agent called back for almost a MONTH and finally got us a reservation when someone else canceled!

We called about 165 days out and got a reservation for the day and time we wanted without any problem at all. I will say there were only 2 available times left for dinner when we called. Maybe we got a little pixie dust early!
