How difficult is it to get a 2 bedroom at 7 months out??

Is it difficult to get a 2 bedroom at 7 months out? I'm not talking Christmas or July 4, just in general. I would be most interested in Animal Kingdom Lodge or Boardwalk. Thanks!!

Are you looking at standard view rooms at the Boardwalk or Value rooms at VAKL - then its not likely (although not impossible) no matter when you book

If any old two bedroom will work and those two resorts aren't on your list because they are low point options - then not hard most times of the year - but Boardwalk has some times where it may be difficult (over Food and Wine and early December).

I have been successful getting 2 bedroom villas at 7 months at BCV and BWV in Sept/Oct, AKV in May and OKW in June. I'm sure SSR would be easy but have never tried to get a 2 br there. Usually book BLT at 11 months and move.

AKV savanna view and BWV pool/garden view should be easy most times of the year at 7 months. Good luck with your booking.

I got a 2 bdr Boardwalk view at BWV at 7 months for a week in April that wasn't Easter week.

For BWV, it really depends on room view and time you want to go. Standard and boardwalk view have a risk of being gone at 7 months out almost any time of year. Pool/garden view is always open at 7 months out anytime between just after marathon weekend in Jan and just before the end of Sep (DVC's low to moderate demand season at WDW and that usually includes holiday times during that 9 month period). During the final quarter of the year (DVC's high to extremely high demand season), even getting pool/garden view can be an issue many times at 7 months out.

AKV value and club level rooms are usually a problem almost any time of year at 7 months out. AKV standard and savanna view 2BRs are usually open at 7 months out, at least at Kidani and usually at Jambo, except a risk otherwise during the following times: the Thurs to Mon of Columbus Day weekend, the Thursday to Sunday of the weekend after that, the Thurs to Sun of the weekend that comes just before or includes Veteran's Day in Nov, the Tues to Sat of Thanksgiving week. The first and second week of Dec, and Christmas week.
