How diff. is Disneyland Paris ?

Hi For those who've been to DLP, are there quite a few major activities ,especially different & fun , from the activities in Disneyland/Disney World in USA?

We're thinking about going to Paris soon but whether we'll go to DLP, that would depend what you recommend!

If you will be in Paris, by all means go to see DLP. We have been to WDW many many times and the Paris park, though smaller is really lovely! The castle is just exquisite! Nice to see a lot of greenery (think AK) vs. all the flowers (which I also love) in Florida. What really impressed me were the rides. Those that were the same as WDW were longer, better formatted, better storyline, and the buildings seemed so 'substantial' for lack of a better term. Also the crowds were not bad and the pushing shoving I had expected did not occur at all. There were a few screw ups in the restaurants, but we dealt with them and all was well. I really liked the MK in Paris, the studios is another matter. It is quite helter skelter and not a lot to see/do.

I wouldn't say that there are many really different rides and attractions at DLP, but if you can spare one day then I would recommend a visit! Part of the fun is seeing things that are the same, but not the same. And the Disneyland Park is considered the most detailed and beautiful "Magic Kingdom" that Disney have done. And we have a dragon under our castle!!!

i agree with you about the studios there isn't really much to do in there you can do that park in a few hours and there's nothing for little ones ride wise only the flying carpets.
Also with the pushing and shoving i think it depends what time of year you go we went in july and august and both times it seems like some people are soo rude like when you try to take a photo off something they will blatently walk right in front off you.
Maybe it's me but i will always walk around people if they are having a photo opp
But that's not saying i wouldn't go back!!!!

We went last month and loved the experience. The park is absolutely beautiful. The gardens and theming are gorgeous and I think its the best out of all the parks (DL Ca, WDW). The park has more greenery and more realistic theming. It was fun to experience the rides. We liked POC the best at DLP out of all the parks. We liked Phantom Manor (Haunted Mansion) the least at DLP out of all the parks. Space Mountain is over the top, much more intense than our US versions. The castle is beautiful. All in all it was a very good experience. It was fun to see the subtle and not so subtle differences- kind of like you do when going to Dl Ca and WDW. I only experienced two incidences of cutting and quite possible both were accidental.
If you have time I would defintely recommend it! We had a great time!

You'll get an opportunity to experience the European culture where Walt got most of the inspiration from fables. I'm sure you'll enjoy a day in DLP

I would go.

I went to DLP when it first opened and loved it. I was in Paris for 5 days and had to get to the park. It is a small park...maybe the size of Disneyland, so you can easily do it in and day. It is also a short train ride away from city of Paris.

Whatever you decide, Paris is a great place to visit...Have fun!
