How did you choose your VMK name?

I love this thred. Its such a great idea. Keep the stories comin!

Well, if you look up DoomCookie in the online Urban Dictionary you will find this :

1. doomcookie

A prattish young woman desiring to flaunt her 'gothiness,' while not really realizing how annoying and cliche she is.

I love this story!!! I always thought it was because you liked HM and cookies.. Well, it is a very funny title. hehe -giggles-

You all may not know how I came to choose my title, Doodlefritz on VMK. Actually, I don't really know either... I just chose it because it sounded funny. :goodvibes I do like to doodle things, but that was far from my mind when I got to the create a title screen. :) I just wanted to choose something a little different then my normal flowergirlbecca which I am known by pretty much everywhere.

I use my name Bronze_Tiger in alot of things it is a nick name I got from my sensei when I was 11, I used to be very dark tanned when I was little, and the style of karate I was learning then and teach now Shotokan Karate (traditional japanese) uses a Tiger as a symbol to Bronze Tiger is me.

I chose the name curlee-Q because I have naturally curly hair and my family used to call me that when I was younger. curly-Q was taken so I had to come up with a new spelling

I can't belive all this rude response to those of you trying to get the story on what you did to warrant a ban!!  After reading all these stories about rude staff replies and unwarranted bans, I guess VMK is not a good place to be. I'm afraid to play, in case I accidently do something that gets an IP ban and my kid can no longer play. You can't be too friendly with your friends (warnings for giving "hugs"), you can't ask them how they are doing (no personal information, like they are tired of the rain, or they had fun at the beach). You can't put in codes from a friend sharing their birthday present with you, because of where it was bought. An inactive character of only three months deleted, instead of their six months like they said.
Yet what I would consider real problems for considering my child to play on this game are still prevelant, like Taken, and trade scams. The other day I thought I would see if some new players might need help getting introduced to vmk, so I had my character in the Esplande. My, my the "Taken" problem is extreme in there, lots of 'hand holding', standing in corners together, "I need a girl friend" statements, etc. (including one girl character going up to every other girl character in the room saying things like 'your cute' and asking them to be her girl friend). And that is where New Players see first!!
And if Disney really wanted eBay to stop selling VMK virtual items, trust me eBay would not allow it. Disney has a lot of clout, what it doesn't like doesn't happen. Instead they do a joint promotion to create new VMK items and recruit new VMK members. Instead virtual only items sell for hundreds of items, and then a friend gets banned for putting in a code that came on a card she bought for a friends birthday. I don't get it.
I miss the Happiest Place on Earth attitude. I had a cousin who used to teach "The Disney Way" at the Disney University. Disney doesn't teach it anymore. He teaches it to companies in Sweden.
I guess I'll go in at least once a week to keep my character active just in case I get over this. But I think I'm done with vmk.

-edit-oops! I posted this in the wrong place! I'm so sorry!! I thought i had added this to this discussion thread of MizBubble's ban.

I'm so sorry to hear this. VMK really has changed. This lack of customer service is ridiculous. I agree that they don't focus on things people should actually be banned for. I cannot tell you how much it upset me to see the person who wished that my children would die soon (because I wouldn't be her VMK mummy :sad2: ) walking around VMK Esplanade a week later. Yet, I don't even know what I did and I'm banned. I think the thing with Ebay that upsets me most is that many people buy/sell the cards (which, yes, may come with unused codes), yet several people on there sell ACTUAL virtual items and do not get in trouble. I think it is one thing if you cannot get to the parks to buy cards and pins, but YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BUY ACTUAL VIRTUAL ITEMS. The current fade is to sell a common quest card like Red saddle seats but attach a BONUS virtual item like Inferno or Eye pin (like I've seen one VERY rich and well known VMK/non-DIS person do) and then ask for a starting bid of $300. Then, you are technically NOT selling a virtual item, just giving it as a bonus :sad2: Thanks to these people, the rest of us get in trouble. Arg. I hope you decide to come back though goldengourd :( I'd hate to be unbanned and see half my friends gone upon my return  (Oh wait maybe I should hug you, I could get banned again :confused3 )

To keep this thread on topic :lmao:, I love Rollercoastergal's new clone, FreeBubble. In case you haven't seen, Roller started a campaign to free me from this bizarre ban and even made a clone rofl. Now that's dedication WOOT!

Hehe that's what i'm here for :rotfl:

I chose my title because my favorite movies are the Final Destination movies! ;) Im sure everyone would know that lol

Giving this a bump so we can hear from all the new people :goodvibes
.. and those who haven't posted yet

I'm slow, but better late than never. In short, my VMK name SorcererDonaldD is an altered version of my name here. Can't use numbers in VMK, so replaced the 16 with a D. If our names could be any length, my full VMK title would be SorcererDonaldDuck. ;)

As for how the SorcererDonald part came about, Philharmagic, the 3D show in Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom in WDW, is one of my favorite Disney attractions, period. I love how it ties in old movies and new movies, and animates pieces of them in 3D. An even better is that my (animated) hero, Donald Duck, is inserted into the movies. Before that starts though, he swipes Mickey's Sorcerer hat in an effort to become Sorcerer Donald. Chaos and calamity ensues, but it sure is fun and it makes me :rotfl: big time.

And that is how my VMK and DIS Boards titles came to be. :wizard:

Well my name is actually Jamey, but one of my nicknames is James. My great-grandma gave it to me. My middle name is Lynn. When I start college and got an AIM account, I had to think of my name, so I went with JamesLynn13 (13 is my lucky number). Since VMK doesn't allow numbers, I just went with JamesLynn.

My VMK Name is KaylaBix :)

My first name is Kayla and i started drawing a bug thing when i was little and i called it bix!

I chose Singersnow because I love singing and my middle name is Snow.
:flower3:Emily:flower3:

I chose PiratePosh because well I love Pirates pirate:
and well some of my friends at school told me I was Posh which I'm not so sure of, but I liked the sound of PiratePosh :]
