How Did We Know in Advance of the BDP Code??

I'm trying to remember how I (we) knew the exact timing of this code so we were on the phone to CRO at 7 am the day it came out. I thinking we'll be staying in a moderate next March and I want to jump on whatever is offered as soon as it's offered. DIS boards are my main source of info but I'm wondering if MouseSavers tipped me off. Where did you find out?

I found out from a few sources: Mousesavers, Intercot boards, Dis boards, But I found out 3 DAYS after they were out. It was OK I got what I wanted. And didn't have to get up in the morning, and do the phone crunch.

I always thought the sure-fire way to know if a code has been released is to check www.disneyworld.com after 7 o'clock in the morning. (Im figuring that is when they would update the site?). I wonder if I have been going about this the right way?

I have found the people here at the DIS and mousesavers post the info quicker than the WDW site. The WDW site seems to be slow getting that info up...

Last year, over the weekend, it was posted by a TA on another board. I think they get a heads up so everyone that was hanging out on the boards knew to call on the day they were released last March. Someone said too that CMs can see them "pending" in the system. Someone posted that as well. I have no idea if that's true or not. The Disney Visa codes that came out in Feb were more of a surprise.

I remember too that people were very frustrated too because they called and were told that they weren't out and they were and then had to call back and wait on hold again.

I don't think mousesavers posts until it's 100% sure they are out.

I get the email from Mousesavers letting you know every time the pages are updated, that's when I found out. But like I mentioned before, I waited until the very last day the code was offered, and still got exactly what I wanted (POR 2/11-2/20).~~
