How did the last incentives end?

I have been interested in buying into DVC ever since I discovered it by accident on the web when looking up WDW stuff. I was just recently ROFR'd and am seriously thinking about buying SSR at the current special as another option. Does anyone here remember how the last incentive ended? Does it just stop or is it announced that it will end in a few days?

I have never been to SSR and will not be at wdw until january and would prefer to see before buying but might need to act sooner.

They usually announce that it is ending a few days before the actual cut-off date. At least that is what happened the last time.
