On Saturday morning a GPT owner posted on the boards about her site, which was quickly removed. I did decide to check it out.
So I went to the site and had seen she is trying to get it off the ground, 1200 people, and a stay at home mom trying to to help out. I am ALL for that so I was like hmmmmmmmmmm.

On her blog she posts a lot of personal stuff which is cool since we can get to know her. I go down a little further and she posted about her 4th Anniversary, not 10 or 20 but 4th. She got her DH a huge TV and she got a spectacular wedding band. DH and I have been married 15 years and we havent been able to buy that kind of stuff and we make decent money. So after reading that I thought "She doesnt need my help". Seriously I am not a meanie like that but I just cant bring myself to try out the site.

Wow - she probably shouldn't have posted that info! Maybe they are living the American Dream via Visa and Mastercard?:confused3

You're not a meanie - just a realist. If I found out that info I would join the reward site either.

I don't think it's wrong to choose what sites you join or do not join based on a feeling you have.

Remember though things aren't always how they appear. Just because they have a big screen tv/nice wedding band or whatever does not mean they are rolling in money. Yes I have luxuries like that as well but I still do all these sites and click on two cent clicks because every little bit does help. No I am not in debt for these items I paid for them myself. I just wouldn't judge the situation looking in from the outside because who really knows what the story is.

I agree, because alot of you who might go to wdw seem like as if you guys are rolling in the dough, especially to someone who struggles and could NEVER afford to go, but us here know, that sometimes it's money earned to pay for the trip. Some people save for quite some time, to get the nice things in life. However I still dont think your a meanie. lol ;)

Well I don't think your a meanie either. You never know how people are really living. They could be living pay check to paycheck and living on mastercard. Who knows.

This reminds me of a Survivor (the reality show) one year they had this guy Brian and they went to each of the contestants house and kinda did an interview with the families. His wife took them around this huge house with luxury cars in garage i'm talking a merceedes. I sat watching that and thought he shouldn't get the million give it to someone else who really needs the money. He won by the way.

I just think everyone should be a bit leary about all these new sites popping up and think of Tricia's warning to all of us that the sites could be gone by morning with our money.
