How did all of you do with Nutrisystem?

Nutrisystem works great. However it only works because the food is so awful you would rather starve than eat. I bought it through QVC. Will never do it again. Plus it was too hard having to cook for the family and then not eat what I was cooking. Now I just watch calories and move more. So far I've lost 14 lbs.:cool1: Try calorie-count.com You type in your age weight and goal weight and they tell you how many calories to eat each day to achieve your goal. They will also let you now if you goal is too extreme in the time you have given yourself. I want to weight 140lbs by March 08.(in time for Disney) So I eat 1260 calories per day.

Thanks for the advice. I guess it all comes down to finding something and then sticking to it, so I just need to be ready. You'd think a picture of me would do it! ;)

I tried ns and lost ten pounds in a month. It was alright, but once I was done with the food, I gained the weight back. Now I just eat in moderation and exercise. I've been doing pretty well, lost 22 pounds with 25 more to go. I enjoy doing what I'm doing b/c I'm not going to be ordering ns forever. I needed to figure out portion sizes and be able to eat what I wanted but just not go crazy and eat the whole box and to get moving.

I remember awhile back that there was a great Nutrisystem deal. At the time, I thought, "I can't do a plan where I can't eat the same thing as my family", but now I would do just about anything to lose this dang weight.

Anyways, I just wondered how all of you did with the plan? It seemed like there were several people who signed up.

Thanks!

My stepfather is on it (about 5 mos. now) and he's doing really well - his health has improved greatly. His weight loss has really slowed down the last month, but he was averaging 1-2 lbs. a week prior to that, and about 5 lbs. a week to begin with. He's gotten to the point where he can go the the gym now and he's enjoying that.

There is a lot of work involved with the vegetables and fruits, but those are things that can be included with your family's meal. My mom checked into the recipes for making the meals herself, but they've decided to stick with the purchased food. He does spurge once a month though - not overly, but it gives him something to look forward to.

I should also say that he's done every diet known to mankind, and this is what worked for him.
