If I recall, I couldn't stand in the adult pool flat foot and I'm 5'1. It's been awhile since I was in the Goofy pool but I remember jumping in and not being able to stand.
It all depended on the water level at any given time. I'm 5'4" and at times I could touch the bottom while on my toes, but other times they must've added more water to the pool and it was way over my head. Especially the day it was a WAVE POOL. lol That was a lot of fun, though
The pool itself is probably just over 4 1.2 feet deep, but they overfill it so that water overflows to that area where you can sit on the edge of the border and still have your toes in the water.
Not sure about the Goofy pool. My DSs are teens and wanted no part of it. Not that I can blame them. I was so glad to not have to deal with that entire area of the ship. The teens really had no place to cool off unless they wanted to be in the middle of a tiny pool filled with very young kids. And I bet the parents of those young kids would not welcome teens hanging out in an already-crowded pool area.
